Good to know

Before and after your appointment.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Get a full night’s sleep, eat a solid meal before you come, and stay hydrated. Skip alcohol for 24 hours beforehand. Wear comfortable clothing that gives me easy access to the placement, and arrive with the skin clean—no lotions on the area, no sunburn, no cuts.

What should I bring with me?

Bring your reference images, a valid ID, water, and a small snack for longer sessions. Loose clothing helps—your tattoo needs room to breathe on the way home.

How do I care for my tattoo afterward?

I’ll go over personalized aftercare with you at the appointment. In general: wash gently with fragrance-free soap, pat it dry, and apply a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturizer. Don’t pick or scratch—flaking is part of healing. Most tattoos settle within two to four weeks.

What should I avoid while it heals?

No soaking—pools, baths, the ocean—and no direct sun on a fresh tattoo. Keep tight clothing and heavy friction away from the area for the first days. Once it’s healed, sunscreen keeps the lines crisp for years.

What if something looks off during healing?

Reach out to me through my CO:CREATE profile or Instagram and I’ll help you work out what’s happening. If you ever notice signs of infection—spreading redness, warmth, or fever—please see a doctor first.

Every tattoo comes with aftercare guidance tailored to it. These answers are the general basics—your exact instructions come with your appointment.
